ANGELS OF PEACE & LOVE

“Desh dishantar mein phiroun, maanush baraa sukaal
Jaa dekhe sukh upje, vaakaa paraa dukaal”.

Wherever I go I meet with lots of people; however, there are very few people with whom I meet who spark love and peace.

Caught in their desires, ambitions and dreams, most people are focused on satisfying their ego. When people cannot relate to others as being part of one and the same existence, linked by consciousness, then they act in a selfish manner. This is when the race to be the best, the competition to be ahead always, the obsession to be superior, and the bias of partiality loom. As long as people will consider themselves separate from other beings, they will be haunted by their obsession to exercise their supremacy. There is only one Supreme Being, who we call God, Almighty, the Supreme Soul…. Human beings who are at the highest level of life forms are fortunate to be sentient beings with intellect. Therefore they can appreciate the oneness which binds them all. If we allow love and peace, which are the natural characteristics of our inner Self, to manifest themselves, the whole world would be in harmony. Unfortunately, as this saakhi underlines, people are mostly engrossed in their individualities, ignoring their common affinity to one another. Satguru Kabir Saheb is depicting the state of the world, and in various instances He highlights that it is normal to expect that there will be more vicious than virtuous people. The lesson that we draw from this is that, regardless of what most engage in, we must be focused on our path. Spread peace and love….no matter what.
